This 10-day itinerary connects the wild landscapes of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, the preserved beaches of southern Mozambique and the safaris of Kruger National Park.

After exploring the iSimangaliso Wetland Park and the St Lucia region, known for its estuaries and abundant wildlife, the journey continues to Ponta do Ouro, a coastal village on the Indian Ocean.

The trip ends in Kruger National Park, one of Southern Africa’s largest wildlife sanctuaries.

Itinerary Overview

St Lucia – iSimangaliso Wetland Park (3 nights)  
Vehicle collection at Durban Airport and drive to the KwaZulu-Natal coast. Stay in this UNESCO-listed region.
Possible activities: estuary cruise, safaris in iSimangaliso, hippo and crocodile observation.

Ponta do Ouro – Mozambique (3 nights)  
Border crossing into Mozambique and stay on the wild beaches of Ponta do Ouro.
Possible activities: snorkeling, diving, dolphin swimming, boat excursions or relaxation by the ocean.

Maputo (1 night)  
Free exploration of Mozambique’s capital: colonial architecture, fish market and unique Lusophone atmosphere.

Kruger National Park – South Africa (2 nights)
